Just wanted to congratulate the Anaheim Ducks for going all the way and winning the Stanley Cup! What a feat! What joy you've brought to the Orange County area and fans of hockey in southern California. Amazing what happens when a team has a goal to be the last one standing gel together. Once again, congratulations to the Anaheim Ducks!
Hello there, Thanks for stopping by. I'd thought that I would write a little bit this Friday afternoon / evening. I ran across a bio of a top producing agent in the Los Angeles basin area that I was shocked to see... He stated that he is an amateur economist but he has been correct about the market trend for the past 15 or so years. Then without much basis or why, he stated that he expects the housing prices in the Los Angeles area to go down about 50% and about 25% nationwide over the next 5 years. Something you should know also is that he is primarily a listing agent, as stated in his bio. He has, and I know this to be true, been in the business and works lots of listings. My thought after reading immediately is how did he come to this conclusion? Why didn't he elaborate on the reasons? Also, wouldn't the sellers reading the bio be scared into listing and selling right now thus creating even more listings on the market? Doesn't this scream "white flight" to you as a real estate professional? It does to me! What do you think? Do you agree with him or disagree on the state of real estate? Does Wall Street Journal have it right in saying that we should be up, but barely in 5 years or is this guy the correct barometer in saying that we will see the bottom go out? Do you think that he should tell this to his clients even though he is not an expert at this? Well, that is my 2 cents for this day. Take care and hope that you are doing well with your business and stay strong! Chun Liu Team WOWWHEE.com
Hey there, Yes, you! It is Friday and as a successful Realtor, you are probably still working. It goes without saying that we don't get the recognition that many people not in this industry understand. Many of the newbies think that it is an easy job and that you can work when you want to and get paid lots of money. Well, do you? Yes, I was one of those when I started. Actually, I just thought that it would be a good thing for me to be working part time while I pursue something else. That never worked. Until I was focused, I didn't really sell real estate! Those that are successful know that there is a time to prospect and then there is a time to play. The successful Realtors can manage that carefully and be very active when necessary. The unsuccessful ones usually drop out and then wonder why they were not successful. Isn't that something? How did you start? Are you successful? Share some of your thoughts and secrets, if you wish. Oh, tgif! lol Long Beach and Lakewood real estate Yes, posted as well...
Ya, just been busy with personal stuff and some business stuff and haven't been able to get back on track with Active Rain. Just when I started to get into a groove. I hope that all will be forgiven and that I will still be able to bring some good things to this community. Thanks for the reminder, Laurie. Look for something from me soon. Until then, I bid thy adou. Best, Chun Liu, California Realtor
Hey, Just wanted to say that dispite the bad weather condition and making the pigskin slippery, both teams played with heart and the referees didn't blow call after call like they did last year! Great job to the Bears and a big congratulations to the Colts. Both teams deserve to be there with a winning record that they had both last year and this year. What an interesting halo-effect game that I saw on a big screen! Was glad that I wasn't one of the people that paid thousands of dollars to sit there soaking wet and wondering what is happening on the field. I'm sure it was a wonderful experience nonetheless. Once again, great job go both teams. I'll miss you NFL season. Can't wait until next season and hope that my team does better than this year! California Real Estate in Long Beach and vicinity!
Hey there, Although my beloved Seahawks didn't make it this year (I'm not a bandwagon person, been rooting for them for years since I've been living in Spokane), the game should be a good one. Way to go Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts for making it to the big show! May the best team win! It is Friday today and I hope that the real estate keeps going! Well, at least for Saturday. I've done an informal survey and lots of people are not working on Sunday, though one of my clients actually asked if I was available on either Saturday or "Sunday". Being that there are lots of obligations, I had to decline Sunday and cram my schedule for Saturday. Which puts an interesting question out to you. Would you work on Sunday or a holiday or would you keep to a schedule and try to have a balanced life? I know of lots of Realtors that will drop everything at a hint and go to that appointment. I know of lots of Realtors that won't and will stick with schedules and try to have some balance. Most of the former are affraid of losing out. Most of the latter understand they might lose out. So, what is your answer and why? Lets get the debate going! This should be fun.
Just wanted a quick post to say "thanks" to Laurie. It is wonderful to be welcomed to this community and I appreciate all of the comments and concerns from everybody. I look forward to learning more and becoming a better blogger. It is amazing to see all those creative real estate people around and taking this thing to the next level. I've tried to comment on each of those that have visited me so far. If I haven't done so with you, please accept my apologies. I'll try better. Let the fun begin! Rain... rain... come here to stay! lol Best always, Chun Liu Long Beach realtor and real estate
Hello there, It is rainy here today in Long Beach. Real estate is far from most people's mind here. We are so used to having sunshine that the news people usually break into regular programming just to say "Storm Watch 2007!" It is actually kind of comical when they do that. The road is a bit more slick and people still drive like madmen trying to get every advantage they can before slamming on the brakes and hopefully not cause an accident. So I'm here trying to figure out how to drive more traffic to the website. There are couple of different resources, some of which are free, others aren't. Of course, there is always blogging. Just get up and start putting together sentences for people to read. Sometimes about real estate. Other times about rain and other stuff. There are plenty of other topics, of course, but since we are on Active Rain, it would be appropriate to talk about real estate. The thing that is on my mind is what in the world is working for you right now? As a buyer of real estate, what are you looking for? As a seller of real estate, what kind of help and person are you looking for? As a real estate professional, how are you finding the prospects and how are you standing out from the rest? Yes, there are many questions and some of which I'm just starting to find answers for. I am very hopeful for the outlook of real estate for 2007. At least for myself. It already seems that people have stood long on the fence and are seeing the benefits of lower pricing coupled with relatively low interest rates that they are back on the market. Of course, we can say a bit the same went on last year. Here in Long Beach, California, real estate is always the topic when I am around. People are really interested in finding a bargain or diamond in the rough or something to help them with the mortgage. We just all chug along and feel the warmth and bask in the sun while staying in the golden state, except for rainy days like today. Tell me, what are you finding and what are you searching for? How is it that we can all help each other and get to that coveted next level? Until next time, here in Long Beach is Chun Liu with Team WOWWHEE.com and Keller Williams Coastal Properties real estate cold and almost wet (am inside typing of course!) Hey there, Hope this finds you well. I am still relatively new when it comes to blogging. From what I gather, it is a matter of basically having a thought about something and putting it down in form of writing. A journal if you will. Of course, in this instance, I believe that you are suppose to write something about real estate. Hopefully something that you, meaning me, have an idea or knowledge about. Many people don't and will form an opinion without doing some research or at least hearing what the other side has to say. While I'm not perfect, I will try my best to understand before forming an opinion. I hope that I can do that well. I hope that I can do this in a manner that is acceptable to you, the reader (I really hope that there is more than one, but one is better than none! lol). So, with those things said, I hope to do Long Beach real estate blogging on this particular blog. On the other one, I will attempt to do blog about Lakewood real estate. If there is something that you would like to know or learn about, please don't hesitate to let me know. If there is something that you would like for me to know, please also do so. I would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to doing this. I also hope that I don't disappoint too much and make a ton of mistakes. I probably will, so you'll have to just bear with me. I've been told that sometimes, my English sounds choppy. That is what happens when you weren't born into English speaking family. Not that I'm great with my Chinese either. lol See you again! Hello there, Being a new user to Active Rain and been trying to utilize MySpace to help boost the recognition as well as link to other potential Realtors across the United States makes me wonder... What have you done and how have you succeeded at helping establish presence? Most of us are looking for more business and other people to network with and this is one of the reasons that I have joined Active Rain. I've heard really great feedbacks about it. So, I put it out there to you, the readers... have you utilized MySpace or other sites as such? To what degree and also what kind of success have you had with it? I know that there are others. I have only dabbled on MySpace. It is incredible to see the growth in number of people on there also! Thanks for stopping by. I hope to hear from you! It should be interesting to read everybody's response! Best always, Chun Liu Long Beach California and vicinity real estate Another link to my site
