Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are back again for a three show run at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. This marks the first time Springsteen has played the area since he appeared last fall at the Izod Center Arena at the Meadowlands.

 After attending 30 classes on soils, fertilizers, tree fruits, vegetables, flowers, botany, plant propagation and several other horticultural topics, 24 Passaic County NJ residents received certificates for "initial completion of training" from the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, a Cooperative Extension of Passaic County.
The classes met at the Totowa NJ Business Center on thursday mornings and the certificates were presented by Elaine Barbour, Rutgers Master Gardener Program coordinator.

Softball Time in Little Falls - 07/12/08 12:41 PM
The 8th annual Jacque Corradino Memorial Softball Tournament is taking place this weekend (7/11 - 7/13 -14 year olds) and next (7/18 - 7/20 -12 year olds). I started this tournament back in 2001 when my daughter was playing and I was the commissioner of Little Falls Softball. Jacque was the first commissioner of the softball program in Little Falls and we lost her during my first year, way too young, to cancer. I ran the tournament for 3 years and then started umpiring when my daughter moved on to high school. The Little Falls Library has been undergoing some changes recently including:
 
New lighting which glows throughout the building as the library moves to its next stage of renovations providing greater safety for library users by raising and reinforcing the railings around the mezzanine and the staircase. Also planned for the interior - painting, new furniture for the Reference Section, and new shelving for the Young Adult section.

My First Flip - The finish line! - 07/06/08 09:37 PM
It's finally here - we're finished! 3 1/2 months later and a lot of time and effort invested, my partner Rich and I have completed our first renovation project - the Clifton NJ house. We had our first Open House today and had a great turnout. About 20 groups (yes groups) of people came through. Not bad for not having advertised, just directional signs and some flyer's hand delivered to neighbors. While many of the visitors were neighbors, the turnout was fantastic and we were very pleased. So without further delay, I present our finished project.
