Below is the Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for November 2011. The market has slowed down in terms of number of homes sold in most price categories.  Additionally, the number of homes still on the market has decreased significantly.  Many homeowners who do not HAVE to sell are withdrawing their homes from the market because of the holidays.  The number of home sales has not declined as much as the number of homes withdrawn off the market.  This means it is a good time to sell a home.  There is less competition which means you have a greater chance of selling.

Below is the Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for July 2011. The market really did a flip-flop this month.  Home sales from $100-150K were up this month, contrary to last month, while sales were WAY down for homes priced over $200K.  The good news is there are a lot of homes under contract priced over $200K, so we can expect to see those numbers really climb in the next 30-60 days.

Below is the Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for October 2010.  The market in Springfield is fairly steady at this point.  There was some decreased activity in the $100-200k price range, which is reflective of the fact that the first-time homebuyers market is pretty much drying up, but the activity in homes priced over $200K is continuing to show signs of life again.

Below is the Republic MO Real Estate Market Report for September 2010.  This month's report has changed very little since last month's.  Sales of homes priced over $200K have been non-existant for the past few months.  This is a great community that offers excellent access to Springfield and excellent schools.  Buyers would do themselves a favor to not overlook this community when considering where to buy.

market reports: Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for May 2010 - 06/12/10 03:34 PM
Below is the Springfield MO Real Estate Market Report for May 2010.  The difference the first-time homebuyer tax credit made on our market is astounding.  The telling report is the Inventory Report.  As you can see, the number of homes under contract has dropped dramatically as most buyers who were under contract by the end of April closed by the end of May, yet the number of homes going under contract diminished considerably.
