realtor magazine: What's Your Pick for the Next REALTOR® Magazine Cover? - 03/18/10 11:13 AM
We enjoyed your input on our April cover so much that we're going back to the well! Our May cover story is built around interviews with people who recently bought and sold homes. What was the experience like for them? What would they do differently the next time?
We came up with more than a dozen ways to tee-up the story on the cover, and we narrowed those ideas down to six cover concepts (below).
Please tell us which cover would be most likely to draw you inside. VOTE HERE!

realtor magazine: Are You an Open House Master? - 02/08/10 11:31 AM
In February 2009, REALTOR® Magazine launched the Masters Series, a video diary of top-producing practitioners, who represent expertise in a certain field within real estate. We traveled all over the country to meet some of the best real estate pros, followed them around for a day, and learned their trade secrets.
We're planning the 2010 series and we want to hear from you. Have you been in the business for over 10 years? Are you a top producer? For May, we're looking for the practitioner who's mastered the open house. Do you throw over-the-top affairs? Attract crowds of lookers? Sell the … (54 comments)

realtor magazine: February: House & Home, SEO, and the New GSE - 01/26/10 04:26 PM
Hey, everyone! Our February issue is now online. An apology is due to readers: Some people got their magazine this month before the content went live at the site. That's a major inconvenience for people who want to take a moment to e-mail an article they've just read or check out online exclusives promoted in the magazine. We're working on making sure that doesn't happen again.
I hope you like our February cover as much as I do. It doesn't top last month's cover with NAR President Vicki Cox Golder on her ranch in Tucson, but it's beautiful nonetheless.
Check out the February contents at … (5 comments)

realtor magazine: REALTOR Magazine Gets "Crowdsourced" Part 2: 'The Culling' - 11/16/09 06:33 PM
My staff and I just this minute wrapped up coverage of the NAR conference in San Diego. In addition to producing a "Show Daily" newspaper and daily online news, the editors and REALTOR.org staff posted 21 blog posts at Speaking of Real Estate. Look for still more posts from YPNers at YPN Lounge.
Among the highlights:
We debuted HouseLogic, NAR's new Web site aimed at providing value for and building alliances with the nation's home owners. I've been watching the HouseLogic staff as they build the site. The technology platform they built is supercool. There's not as much content as I'd … (1 comments)
