The old addage is the proof is in the pudding.  Mark Twain said there are three types of lies...lies, damn lies and statistics.  Well now I am really confused, but our Triangle Area MLS keeps very good statistics which we call Market Trends and good REALTORS follow and update their clients.  Here is what we have for the month of
May 2007 in WAKE COUNTY NC:
Single and Multilfamily homes sold: 2,056
Total Dollar Value of these homes: $546,765,432.00
Average Price: $265,936.00
Median Price: $191,000.00
Days On The Market: 0-30=844  31-60=369   61-90=217   91-120=133  over 120=370

In this electronic age it is easy to find information on just about anything in a matter of minutes....really seconds.   As far as Real Estate is concerned, homeowners want to know the value of their properties.... so logically they "google"; search the net to find someone/something to electronically give them an estimate of their home.  Many people do it just out of curiosity and others do it because they are considering to sale their home and want a jump-start to know what to expect.

Renaissance Park.....The newest "cool" neighborhood in Raleigh - 06/11/07 08:41 AM
 If you are a Raleigh native or lived here long enough to hear the gossip that a new development close to downtown has gotten underway.....it's TRUE.  A lot of people don't realize Tryon Road goes all the way to HWY 401 2 miles from Downtown Raleigh.  This area which was cleared now has a few homes being built and a huge Recreation Center.  It's called Renaissance Park.
 The developers of Wakefield have done it again.  This community is what the South West area of Raleigh has been needing for years.  The location couldn't be better...2 miles North is Downtown..2 miles Eest is Walnut Creek Ampitheatre...where all … (0 comments)
