Where To Watch Fireworks In Atlanta - 06/28/11 03:52 PM
Ah yes...it's that time of year when we blow off some steam in the form of fireworks to celebrate the Independence of the U.S.A. And I suppose you'd like to know Where To Watch Fireworks in Atlanta, right? I'm almost amazed I even know this information. For the longest time (about 13 years infact) my July 4th consisted of sitting in the living room, and turning up the TV as loud as I possibly could do drown out any neighborhood sounds of the festivities. Why? Because my Greyhound, Nero was scared to death and I often thought he WAS going to (8 comments)
"Pick Up the Pace Boy! You Wanna Play in This Game Or Not!" - 06/26/11 01:46 PM
Those words could easily be heard on any sports field or court as a coach pushes the players in training or in the game. Pushing them to do their best. Pushing them to better themselves, and give it 110%. I don't have a coach in real estate. I did take a program once (the material was as old as the hills, and so was the coach....) but it came at a great price. Ah...you get what you pay for. Hey, I do still use some of the forms, so it was not a total loss. So I was just posting some (8 comments)

You Want to Buy a Midtown Atlanta Condo. Why Do You Insist in Bringing in an Outsider? - 06/18/11 02:28 PM
Real life in real estate does make for good topics. And buying a Midtown Atlanta Condo is one of them. I don't work on a typical real estate "team," but I have a team. A Mortgage lender that knows my local market -- (I work almost exclusively in condominiums....need I say more?) An appraiser that can help us determine the value of your condo. (After all the appraisal is what a lender will loan on!) A handyman (several of them) to help with repairs to get the place in shape. And so on and so on. So Mr. Buyer, why do (5 comments)
Play Strategically. Don't Let Your Mortgage Place You In Checkmate! - 06/07/11 10:35 AM
Broker Bryant shares some great info here regarding a "Strategic Short Sale." I guess the question is, will a bank consider your short sale if you are really not having any economic issues, and just want to settle your debt. Hopefully, BB will share some insight on any successes on that front.
Via Bryant Tutas-Tutas Towne Realty, Inc: Is doing a Strategic Short Sale the right thing to do? First let me define Strategic Short Sale. A Strategic Short Sale is when you can afford your mortgage payments and are making payments on time BUT you owe more than the property (1 comments)

The Top 5 Regrets People Have On Their Deathbed - 06/04/11 10:49 AM
The Top 5 Regrets People Have on their Deathbed Sounds like a depressing topic, but it actually makes you stop and think. At least it certainly has given me reason to pause. I'm currently in Montana, where I was born, visiting family. Those of you that have moved away from your family can relate. The visit home to see Mom. (My father passed away in '94) Listening to the same stories, over and over.....and over. You have to laugh after awhile...or you just might cry. Trying to get your point across, but Mom knows better (sometimes yes..sometimes....NO?) But then you pause...and (105 comments)
Georgia Tech Student Housing - Viewpoint Midtown Atlanta - 06/03/11 10:49 PM
As we continue our review of Georgia Tech Condo Housing options for the Georgia Tech student and parents, it's time to look at the newest building close to the Georgia Tech Campus. A beauty, a class act...and my personal favorite! Viewpoint Midtown Atlanta arrived on the Midtown Atlanta Condo scene in 2008. Original plans called for a total of THREE residential towers, but those plans have since been scrapped. (This picture gives you and idea of what the plan was!!) Might be a good thing for current and future owners! Of the 378 original homes, there are just a handful (5 comments)
Mark's In And Out Drive In Livingston, MT Travel is a wonderful thing. You get to experience new places and people. You can return to the special places you discovered before. Or you return to places where you came from...like Montana. Of course, places change over time, and Montana is no exception. Except for my home town of Livingston. It seems to be stuck in a time warp from say, the 1800's? Well, maybe not THAT bad, but much of remains like it did when I left back in the early 80's. My trips home are usually pretty quiet. There are many definitions, but let's just say anything inside I-285, or "Inside the Perimeter - ITP" is Intown Atlanta! There are many neighborhoods, from Buckhead, to Brookhaven, Morningside, Midtown, and Midtown West, to actual cities like Decatur, Chamblee, and Doraville.
