Viewpoint Midtown Atlanta - 08/31/12 02:03 PM
Today I was following up on behalf of a tenant on a small maintenance issue in the condo that they are currently leasing. I also us this opportunity to do a physical inspection of the condo and make sure all is well and nothing out of the ordinary is going on. Today, that visit took me to Viewpoint Midtown Atlanta. Midtown Atlanta offers numerous condominium buildings with a variety of styles, contemporary to traditional, mid-rise to high rise and some options in between. But Viewpoint Midtown Atlanta is clearly a favorite of mine...and the residents that live there. The building offers (2 comments)
What is the Word Wednesday 8/29/12 - 08/29/12 01:01 PM
Well a big thanks to Susan Mangigian for giving us something else to ponder and think about. I kinda like days that are wordless, but then again, sometimes you just have to let it out. Today -- Truncate -- To shorten by cutting off a part; cut short: I can think of a couple agents I could do this to. Yep!
Do You Need to RE? Charge? Tool? Think? Work? Live? Invent? Set? - 08/24/12 04:25 PM
I'm pretty sure that everyone needs some RE. Whether you have 20 listing or no listings. 1 buyer or 5 Buyers. 1 lead per day or 10 leads per day. Everyone needs some RE.... Yesterday, was the annual FMLS (First Multiple Listing Service) Showcase Trade Show. An opportunity to check out suppliers to us in the real estate business. First, off, let me tell you another example of how times have changed. I'm going to guess that in 2004 when I got my license (and I still have a cup with the date on it I use daily) there must have (18 comments)
When Barbara Corcoran Knows You --You've "Arrived" In Real Estate! - 08/14/12 06:54 PM
Today was an awesome day! Just lots of good things happening. It's days like this for me that must be like the electric car when it gets plugged in.....'ahhhhh...juice!' I'll save all the other good things for another post...but this just had to get out! The President of Palmer House Properties, Kevin Palmer, and our Broker-in-Charge, Tod Von Brinegar just returned from Chicago and a national chamber of commerce meeting, where Kevin had the chance to meet Barbara Corcoran! While they were taking pictures, Barbara said to Kevin, "You use these pictures where ever you can to grow your business." Kevin (36 comments)
Intown Atlanta Real Estate Buyers Guide | Desire vs. Require - 08/12/12 04:48 AM
We all have our dream home. Maybe it has a resort-like pool in the back yard, or it's the penthouse on the 36th floor, or it has mountain views. Whatever it may be, it may not always be. In this edition of the Intown Atlanta Real Estate Buyers Guide, it's Desire vs. Require. When you start shopping for your new, or next home, you have to prioritize as to what you desire (want) and what you require (need). By establishing what you absolutely need in your new home (4 bedrooms, 3 baths, private balcony, fitness center, etc) it will help both (10 comments)

You Don't Know How Much Sh-t You Have Till You Don't Have A Sewer Line!! - 08/02/12 07:15 PM
I missed this one in draft mode...so it must go out! We all face life challenges. They come in all forms. Anytime I see anyone with a disability, life is very quickly put in perspective. I saw a guy today in a wheelchair waiting for a bus, while I'm driving down the street in my air conditioned car. Reality check. But, we still have issues. They come in all different shapes, sizes, and costs. Mine was late June. I'm at my desk, about 10pm, on the phone or Skype, and my nephew comes in and asks me what I'm doing in (7 comments)
