I've been dancing here in the "Rain" since like 2007? In fact, I just went back and found my very first post! I've learned so much from my time here. From blogging and SEO to other parts of my profession, the learning opportunities at and within the Active Rain community have been awesome! But so have the friendships I have made. A few have come and gone, but most remain. And some of those are truly friendships that I cherish...and think the other does too. Points. It's never been about points. ( Ok, I'm stretching the truth there a bit.....I love to beat Jim Crawford or Lane Bailey but it will never happen!) I found Active Rain way, way back in 2007. Come this August, I'll celebrate 5 years since I stumbled onto this place, site, whatever called Active Rain. I know it saved my real estate business. RETech South Or RETSO......can be summed up in one word....WOW or that could be further broken down into "World of Wonder!" Doctor, do I have a problem if I admit I am in love with a website? No, unless you are sleeping with it. Well, as this post comes together, there is but a couple days left, and 2009 will be in the history books. And we'll be talking about her for a few years to come! I personally have had some challenges this year...more so than I can remember in anytime in my life. Midtown Atlanta Real Estate has it's days! But today, I had a chance to get some fresh ideas, due in part to Active Rain! While Active Rain is a site for real estate agents to connect, it is certainly the very least part of it....in fact it is way more than just a site.... ...many agents run their blog off the Active Rain site/platform ...many agents have used Active Rain and all of its blogs as a "Second Real Estate University." ...and many agents have made friends here...be they sort of virtual (having never met in person) or having the opportunity … (7 comments)
