I would like to announce that I’ve joined Capstone Real Estate. Now, I’m still with the same office as I was with All Brokers Real Estate, we have just joined forces with Capstone.

I do lots of preparation when I list a home, but when someone calls me saying they are in trouble and behind on their payments, I always ask what is the date of the foreclosure. Usually I get the answer of they haven’t given us a date yet or not for another 4 or 5 months, we just got the first notice.

The Portland Beavers are giving the fans one last chance at seeing some great baseball in Portland and last nights game was exactly that. They played the quickest game in Portland Beavers history and it was a shutout win 3-0 over Tacoma.

Recently one of my clients called me because they decided to refinance and they got a great rate, saved almost a 1% off their original loan and had no closing costs. This cut their monthly payments by over $200 according to them.

The Bridal Veil Post Office is a small little post office in the town of Bridal Veil. Bridal Veil doesn’t have much, the fact is all it has left is the post office, a cemetery and a church. This town doesn’t have a lot, but the post office sure is busy!

Why is this post office in this basically a ghost town of a city so busy? Well, the name of course! You see brides drive from hundreds of miles around to have their wedding invitations post marked with the Bridal Veil post mark.

Today I needed a new drill, my 15 year old cordless finally died and went to drill heaven, it was time for me to get a new one. So, I drove to the closest store, the local Home Depot that is about 5 miles away. We thought prices might not be the best, but they are convenient and close to some other places we need to go.

I love hiking and using my new camera, it makes for great photos and a lot of fun with the family. But, lately this die hard Oregonian that used to call rain “Liquid Sunshine” is getting depressed. In April we had 27 days of rain, in May 24 days and what I thought was to be a dry first day of June turned out to be just as wet at April and May.

One of the things I love about real estate is making new friends and I do mean friends. I met many of these people because of real estate and now we have game nights, go to weddings, graduations and unfortunately funerals.
