Today while we were leaving the house, this is what we came out to see in our front yard. There was also a male and two other females, but this darling little girl wasn't going to be bothered by us today. I got within 15 feet of her while snapping shots and all she ever did was perk up her ears and look my way. She never did move her feet. Sometimes you meet great people in the world through your kids, friends, or in this case, through her grandparents. You see I met this wonderful past client through her grandparents who were buying a home in Beaverton, Oregon through me and I ended up listing her home.
There were a couple of challenges with this one as it was being sold because of a nasty divorce that involved a restraining order. I was told I had to be very careful about open houses and if I saw him anywhere near the home I was to get out and call the police.

Day two of Depoe Bay, Oregon a day at the beach as usual is wonderful - 07/21/10 12:28 AM
Ok, day two of the mini vacation with the wife for anniversary didn’t produce a picture of the resident whale in Depoe Bay as we had hoped. But, we did see a few sea lions a couple harbor seals and did have a heck a lot of fun. We started out our day heading out on a whale site seeing tour, we thought that would at least give us some shot of a whale. (But, no luck this time)

There is no better way to enjoy your anniversary than to set the camera on auto and sit with your loved one and enjoy the sunset. There were 300 pictures taken of the sunset while my wife sat and enjoyed, but this one was my favorite of all of them. A view from Depoe Bay.... By the way an interesting fact about Depoe Bay, Oregon is that it was originally Depot Bay named after Charles Depot, but when the post office showed up in the 1930's they basically, well as most governments are, were stupid and changed it to Depoe. So now Depot bay is Depoe and its claim to fame is the world smallest harbor. (Weird, I know, but they do have a year round what watching as they have one whale that lives in the bay year round)

It has been a busy couple months for me with business, booming, company changes and the end of baseball season finally arriving, it meant time to get back to the real world. But, one thing that also came at the end of baseball season my wife and I’s wedding anniversary. (17 years)

Well Yes and No, let me explain. First yes, you can buy a home with bad credit, but you would need to do either owner financing or rent-to-own. Both of these alternatives have their places, but you need to be aware you will be paying a higher than normal interest rate if you were to buy this way. But, sometimes for the self employed, this is a great alternative to a traditional loan.

Since December 8th, I have had a very tough time blogging and I even really stopped using Twitter and Facebook. But, what that really did is lowered my readership and even lost me a few local Twitter followers.
As many of you know, I’m not all about getting the most followers, but getting the most local followers. The only way to do that is to write about local events, family, hiking, restaurants and other local happenings. Can a bank go after a seller for fraud if the intent wasn’t to defraud the bank? - 07/06/10 09:29 AM

I had a client that was in the middle of a short sale when the bank started investigating them hard for mortgage fraud. Now when they filled out the loan documents, and signed at closing, all the information was true and they didn’t see any changes on the horizon.
Fast forward to today when they have lawyers contacting them daily and are threatening them with jail time for mortgage fraud if they don’t bring their account current and continue with this short sale. I’ve heard some people say they can’t work out of their homes because of their kids. I’m one of the lucky ones that when I’m on the phone my kids know that it is a time to be quiet because Daddy is trying to make money.
