activerain newbie: Is there a way to get more people who sign up on Activerain to write that first post? - 02/02/11 07:51 PM
In my 22 in 22 challenge to myself I have discovered a disturbing trend. Out of 120 people or more that sign up only about 10, if that, ever write their first post and of those who do write that first post, maybe only 2 or 3, are around a week later.
WHY IS THIS?
Is it too intimidating? Is it they learned about it at their brokerage weekly class and the teacher just told them to sign up and not how to use it? You could give me a sewing machine, but without showing me how to use it, … (19 comments)

About three hours ago I was teaching a class on blogging and social media. One of my students, Jim Sholl, was excited, but he didn’t expect the results I was telling him about either, but by the time the class was over, he had become a believer!
You see at 11am today I was teaching a class to a small group of people on social media and blogging. Jim had set up his profile on Activerain and was now ready to enter the world of blogging and put up his first post. I do have to say he is thanking … (17 comments)

Hey everyone, help me welcome Mona Makela, the owner of Heavenly Maid Cleaning Service to Activerain. I met Mona about 6 months ago when she and her crew were doing the cleaning at our condo conversion projects the day before clients were to move in.
She and her team came in and did a great job. They left the place move-in ready despite what they had to clean up after. They were left with a lot of construction dirt and debris, but they left that place spotless!
