I enjoyed the story. It was exciting and adventurous. It was about a girl named Rosita who feels unappreciated, so she runs away. Her stepsister Maria (whom she doesn't like) follows her onto a boat and they end up going down the Rio Grande. While on the boat, Maria and Rosita become friends. Also while on the boat, someone comes by and asks if they've seen Rosita and Maria and said that their father was ill because he missed them so much.
