beach: Wordless Wednesday: The Ocean Spray Can't You Just Feel It? - 07/21/10 09:06 AM
This is along the Oregon coast and I thought it was appropriate as we are getting ready this morning to head out to go crabbing and bottom fishing. I'm really hoping we don't see this many rough waves where we are going, because getting wet is not really in my plans today. (LOL)

beach: Time to celebrate!!! - 07/19/10 10:41 AM
It has been a busy couple months for me with business, booming, company changes and the end of baseball season finally arriving, it meant time to get back to the real world. But, one thing that also came at the end of baseball season my wife and I’s wedding anniversary. (17 years)
We didn’t get to celebrate on that day as planned, can’t remember really why now, even though it has only been a couple weeks. So, in about 2 hours we are dropping off the pets and the kids and grandpa and grandma’s house for 3 days! (YES 3 … (10 comments)

beach: The day the beach came to us - 08/03/08 12:19 AM
Normally it takes our family about an hour, to an hour and a half, to get to the beach, depending on which beach we are heading to. But today it only took about 15 minutes as it seems the beach got a lot closer to us than normal.
You see the City of Portland has a public square right in the middle of downtown called Pioneer Court House Square, and this year they bussed in a few tons of sand for a sand art contest. All you could use was the sand and water to build some master creations.
