It is true, we didn’t have to go to Radiator Springs or break down to meet Tow Mater, he came to us, right here in Beaverton, Oregon. Every Friday night there is a car show at the corner of 174th and Farmington next to the Dairy Queen and this week were lucky enough to be graced by the presence of Tow Mater himself. He did seem to be the hit of the car show this week.

One of the things I’ve always been impressed with about the City of Beaverton is that it seems to be always promoting family and family events. One of these is the National Night Out and this year celebrates the 27th year.
On August 3, 2010, Beaverton will be celebrating its National Night Out with police, K-9, fire, and many other events for families and kids.
