This has become a family tradition for us where my whole family, including my parents, all go out to breakfast at the Washington Square Mall and enjoy our time with the big guy… Santa Claus! We get to all enjoy songs, magic and a great breakfast together. Then afterwards, all the kids go down to sit on Santa’s lap and give them their Christmas wish list which unlike some of the photos I’ve seen online, this gives my kids a smile! Oregon has seen some recent activity in new home construction that to say the least is encouraging, but in order to make a profit and no go bankrupt like so many builders have in the past 2 years you need to be smart! Know your numbers is the first thing I can suggest and second is know the area and what is going on in that area. I’ve decided that it was time to find places to take the family on a daily basis that involved hikes that lasted an hour or two. For a combination of reason, one to just spend time with the family, two to get some exercise and third was to educate our children. As I write this between innings of the 4th game of the World Series 2011, I realize how nice it is to have something to bond over with my son. If you haven’t figured it out already, I’m a big baseball fan. It is a team sport that unlike any other sport if you aren’t playing together as a team, you just can’t win.
