Wow, what a history Carus Elementary School has, the school was originally a one room log cabin in the 1800s built by the farmers to educate their children. (That school was located only about one mile north from the present location of the school) What I thought was interesting is that the reports the original lessons were taught in German and not English.

Mill Street Park in Canby, Oregon is a great family park located in the heart of Canby. This park is a rather large park with lots of things to do for the whole family. My son really liked the tractor arm toy, where he could dig and move dirt.
But, we also could have played baseball, basketball or even played tennis. This park is a wonderful thing for the residence of Canby and if you live in Canby, you should check out this great city resource they have built for you.

canby: Ride ‘em cowboy… My wife’s and kids first rodeo (That Clackamas County Fair) - 08/24/10 01:28 PM

Back in the 1920s and 1930s my Grandfather and Great Grandfather were considered rodeo stars. They made lots of money on the rodeo circuit. I remember going to many rodeos as a kid with my family and I enjoyed them a lot. There was always action going on and it was just like a rock concert.
