I got a call about one of my listings the other day and this agent had a very interested buyer in one of my homes that happens to be a short sale. But, she said, "I won't lie to you, I've never done a short sale before."
I said that is fine, before I did my first I hadn't either. She had to laugh at that and I gave her a run down of the process and what happens during what can be a long process unless you met the right person within the bank.

If you think about this statement, it can have a lot to do with life and real estate. But what if you never have been on a bike before? Today was a special day for my little Shortstop. (I know you think I call her that because of my love of Baseball, but I actually call her that because she is very short and I'm always telling her to stop it!)
Today my little Shortstop got her first bike. How can you remember how do to do something that you have never done before? Maybe we should think of new agents … (17 comments)

Yesterday, while standing guard at my company's condo conversion project, another agent came in with a buyer that had the check book out, had signed all the papers, and then the buyer started to get cold feet.
As a buyer's agent on this project, I get no gain if another agent brings in a buyer. But, I saw this agent had done everything right, but the buyers' remorse started to set in early! So, I decided to interject and say how much I love living here, and how our kids were making a lot of friends, and my parents were teachers … (13 comments)
