hillsboro little league: I don't feel like typing Saturdays: Something here is not like the others - 05/02/09 10:45 AM

This picture was from my daughters first baseball game ever. You can clearly see despite loving baseball she is still a girly girl and isn't affraid to be different.

hillsboro little league: The tears of a small child - Thanks team! - 06/07/08 11:17 AM
Last night my wife found my son crying in his room, and though having a six year old crying isn't unusual, it is when there isn't another crying child trying to blame something on them. My wife went in to his room, sat down beside him and asked him what was wrong. To her surprise, and at the same time joy, he was crying because he was disappointed his baseball season was over.

We don't have a major league team here in Oregon, but that doesn't matter to the little … (16 comments)

Well, the forms came this week, and I had to tell my 6 year old son that he may not be able to be on the Red Sox again. Last year was his first year playing little league t-ball and he was on the Red Sox. I think it made him a lifelong Red Sox fan.
But, when he found out he may have to be on another team, he got a little depressed. However, he still has been practicing in our backyard ever since the day the announcement came that it is time to sign up for spring league.
