This little guy has the world figured out and I can't argue with him! It is nice to be on top, you get to be warm and cozy and dream away on what to do with your day. I have a feeling he is dreaming of getting his bellied rubbed, but hey as someone who owns a pig, who knows what they are thinking!

On May 16, 2009 our little Athena was born and through a series of blogs and comments I got to meet a new Activerain friend Wanda Kubat-Nerdin. Then, it came, an email from Wanda asking if we wanted one of the little Piglets. We said you bet, and the plans were laid for a road trip to Southern Utah, a place I had never been.

I can't explain this bond between my son Nathaniel and our pig Athena. But, when ever he lays on the floor, Athena just has to become his pillow. If he leaves, she will get up set and wants to go with him. Got to love the bond between kids and their pets.
