I love dogs, let’s get that out of the way right away. I’ve owned many over my life and I know one day I will own another one. Probably an English Bull dog or a Basset Hound, I just think they have so much personality in their faces.

The day started out like any other. I get a call from a client that wants to see a property. I checked to make sure their pre-approval was still good since I hadn't heard from them in a couple weeks. I checked the MLS to see if the home is vacant or if I need to set up an appointment.

When my clients list with me, they get top notch service as well as a long list of things that they need to do to your home to protect their personal information and their valuables. But, if someone is really determined to steal something, they are going to do it.
But, I'm thinking of adding to my list of added value service. I'm thinking about giving my clients spy cameras that were invented to help catch cheating spouses or bad baby sitters. But, these can be used also to protect your home during showings as well.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from one of my clients wanting to see a home. Unfortunately, I had to be part of my own personal cops show outside my parents' house. Then I had a scheduled open house on the other side of town. There was just no way I was going to be able to fit this client in today.

This is the letter I think I'm going to send to every agent of a seller that tells me that they want me to come back later. It is very important that sellers understand that when you have a hot buyer, delaying them in anyway will lose the sale. This is why so many automobile salesmen don't want you to leave their lot. Over the past two months I've received some strange feedback on one of my listings. I've also seen similar things on other listings of mine, but this one has gotten the most. I just don't understand why agents would want to be a taxi service to a buyer. Read the feedback from below and tell me if you think these agents are being taxi drivers or agents? With gas prices what they are today, I certainly wouldn't be doing extra stops or driving 60 miles roundtrip out of my way to show a listing that I know they will never buy.
