It was 106 degrees out today and I really didn't feel like leaving the creek after spending an hour and a half in an enclosed hot space teaching a class. This is Silver Creek in Silverton Oregon behind the Museum and Library.

Yesterday was a great day in Boston as the Red Sox retired the jersey of one Johnny Pesky. You don't know who Johnny Pesky is? Well let me tell you the story of Mr. Pesky or as he is called her in Oregon, "Mr. Red Sox."

A couple weeks ago I didn't know who Mr. Pesky was either until I visited the Silverton History museum and found out all about Mr. Pesky and now seeing his number retired is just awesome. silverton oregon: Silver Falls State Park, Oregon – South Falls - 09/13/08 07:47 PM
Last week our family took one of our week long camping trips, but what my wife didn't bother to tell me is we had no internet service there. Despite that, I think I have come up with some amazing photos of the falls to show you.
Silver Fall State Park is located just outside Silverton and is one of the most beautiful parks in Oregon. As you can see from the photos below the South Falls are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Last week we went on a little vacation to Silver Falls State Park outside Silverton, Oregon, and while driving through, we decided to stop off and find out more about this city's history. I've been there and written about this city before, so I knew this city had something to show us.
