success: Are you changing with the times or are you doing the same ole things that aren't working? - 12/17/11 09:41 PM

A lot of agents look at their business once a year and re-evaluate what they need to do in their business to make it successful. Now to me this is a huge mistake! I look at my business every month and if something isn’t working, I will eliminate it. If you don’t evaluate your business and continue what is working and eliminate what isn’t, you to like this general store will become obsolete.  How often do you look at your business?

success: Reflections - 10/25/11 10:19 AM

Reflecting on one’s life is something that we all do from time to time, but don't let it control your life. Look to the future and know that it will be bright. Only look to the past as a reference point and don't make the same mistakes twice.
Make it a great day!

success: Here at Raincamp and I thought I would write about well… Family! - 06/20/11 11:29 AM
Yesterday was Father’s Day and my family and I came up to Seattle a couple days early to have some fun. We went to see my wife’s aunt and uncle and had a great dinner with them. But, my family came with me to Raincamp, so they could take me to the Seattle Mariners game on Sunday for Father’s Day.
You are asking what does all that have to do with real estate? Well, I can tell you it has everything to do with real estate for me. I got in to real estate so I could provide for my family, … (23 comments)

success: Beaverton, Oregon Short Sale has successfully closed thanks to the Friendly Home Team! - 06/02/11 12:00 PM
Another Beaverton, Oregon, Short Sale has successfully closed thanks to the Friendly Home Team! This is no easy task in today’s market with banks taking forever and buyers coming and going because they decide they can’t wait any longer.
But, The Friendly Home Team has kept a great track record of closing short sales in Beaverton, Oregon, and though we hate to see families lose their homes because of financial troubles, we hate to see them being foreclosed on even more!
Our most recent success is located in the Four Seasons subdivision of Beaverton, Oregon. 5465 SW Village Place was a … (8 comments)

success: As the sun sets on 2010, I want to wish you all a successful 2011 - 12/31/10 08:23 PM
Though over the next couple weeks I am assuming we will be losing a few members here in the rain thanks to the annual NAR dues not being able to be paid. (I hope I am wrong about this) I do hope you all have a very, very successful 2011.

Make a business plan, get an accountability partner and hit the ground running on Monday and you are bound to be successful. I thank all those who supported me in 2010 via their friendship, accountability and their sharing. Without you I don’t think 2010 would have been as successful as … (20 comments)

success: Will all the great agents in the room please take one step forward (WHOA…Not so fast there buddy) - 10/28/08 01:00 AM
Have you ever run in to an agent that thinks they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but you just want to slap them upside the head and bring them back to Earth? As far as I'm concerned two things make a great agent. First is their clients and the second is dedication.
I was asked by an agent who is in a bigger office what they should do with an agent that is trying to copy her in every way, including her farm areas. She is worried about her farm because this person is a self proclaimed real estate … (10 comments)

success: Why not exceed! - 05/23/08 04:46 AM
I met with a client yesterday and her best friend was there, as she needed to come up and help her son, so, she drove up from Southern Oregon, and decided to hang with her friend at the same time. This friend was wise beyond her years and because of it, in that hour we talked, I gained a friend, and wisdom, that will propel me to new levels in life and business.
This wisdom she bestowed on me showed me that what I'm doing right today, toward others and my family, will repay itself 10 times over in the future. … (8 comments)
