Over the past 6 years I’ve been in real estate, I’ve done a lot of owner financing and lease option deals for owners and buyers. But until this last summer I had never had a situation where a property was given back on a lease option or a home owner had to foreclose on a buyer.
But, there was a difference with the buyers and sellers of these properties versus the ones that were in pre-foreclosure with the banks. The sellers (who also were the bank on these sales) were willing to listen to the buyers and their situations and … (36 comments)

This chart below breaks down Beaverton Oregon Real Estate sales by neighborhood, for the week ending 06/26/2008. Sales have been off since last year with the pending sales in Beaverton, Oregon were down 20.4% from 2008 for the month of April when the last stats came out. The good news is that the average sales price was down only 6.6% from the same time last year, but this was a 1% drop since March We are starting to see a few more foreclosures hit the market, but things still seem to be picking up just a little.

This chart below breaks down Tigard Oregon Real Estate sales by neighborhood, for the week ending 07/03/2009. Sales have been off since last year with the pending sales in Tigard, Oregon were down 20.9% from 2008 for the month of May when the last stats came out. The news isn’t a good for Tigard with the average sales price being down by 8% from the same time last year, This is down more than a percent since April. Though many foreclosed homes have hit the market, the hit to average price of homes seems to be less than expected.

The Greenburg neighborhood of Tigard, Oregon goes east, starting at 121stAve, to Hwy 217, and south, from Scholls Ferry to Pacific Highway (99w). This part of Tigard, Oregon is partially in Tigard School district and partially in the Beaverton School District. The only park in this area of Tigard is Englewood Park near Scholls Ferry road. However, it does connect to a much larger park on the Beaverton side of Scholls Ferry Road, called Greenway Park.
