Athey Creek Middle School is located off I-5 and Borland Road in West Linn, Oregon. Now many people know West Linn as a higher income area of Clackamas County and completely dismiss it as a place to live. A view worth sitting down and enjoying! McLean House and Park in West Linn, Oregon is certainly that! While my family was out Geocaching the other day we came across this great home and park in West Linn and this amazing view.
We enjoyed the view so much that my family decided to take a sit and enjoy the view for awhile. This park is located just off Interstate 205 and actually you have to pass under the interstate on trails to get to the water, but the very little hike was well worth it!

west linn: One of the things I love about Oregon is even when stuck in traffic photo opportunities present themselves - 11/04/10 12:03 AM


While sitting on Interstate 205 North bound on the way to my parents house just outside West Linn there is a this amazing viewpoint. This viewpoint can get you some amazing pictures and a break from the traffic that comes to a stop there because of some fools thinking that putting a metered onramp on a hill was a good idea making sure traffic that is going 55 can slow to 25 to let people in because they had to stop for a light at the top of a hill and had to try to get going again.

Now, where is the company name police on this one? Come on, don't tell me they didn't sit around drunk during a college frat party to come up with the name of this pizza place. I love funny signs, but how am I supposed to explain to my kids why daddy just spit out his gum while driving because he was laughing so hard.

west linn: Time for Weasels Dancing in the Park again: The Oregon Ferret Shelter annual fundraiser! - 08/19/10 08:51 AM


This year’s fundraiser for the Oregon Ferret Shelter maybe the most important yet! Weasels Dancing in the Park is not only to help fund the Oregon Ferret Shelter, a “NO KILL” Ferret Shelter in Oregon City, but I believe we will also be talking about our support AGAINST HR 669.
I’ve been a supporter and volunteer for the Oregon Ferret shelter for many years now. (16, I think) But, my wife and I think that this is for a very good cause. I think “NO KILL” shelters are the only way pets should be handled. Too many families are … (10 comments)

west linn: West Linn, Oregon Parks - Hammerle Park - 07/27/08 11:07 PM
Hammerle Park is a 5 acre plus park located in West Linn, right off Hwy 43. This park, during the hot summer days, is great for kids as it has a wading pool that is only about a foot deep, but to a hot child, that is all they need!
This park also has swings, slides, and two different sets of playground equipment, one for older kids and one for kids under three. (Personally, I love this, as usually younger kids get run over on the bigger equipment by older and faster kids.)

Weasels Dancing in the Park has a live auction, raffle, and games for ferrets and their owners with all the proceeds go to the Oregon Ferret Shelter, a 100% no kill ferret shelter located in Oregon City, Oregon.
This year's event takes place at Hammerle Park in West Linn, Oregon, on July 27th, 2008, from 10am-4pm, and as always admission to the event is free. Below is a map to Hammerle Park. If you click on it you can get point to point directions from Google.
