You know how you can drive by a place and never know it was there?  Well, I've been driving by Northwest College which is a beauty school in several location in the Portland Metro area, including Beaverton.
Earlier this week I saw an advertised $5.00 haircut so I decided to drop in.  I had the BEST Haircut in Beaverton and for $5.00 what a deal.

A former client referred someone to me.  The caller told me:

Watch Out For the Negative Buyer With a Game Plan, written by Gayle Rich-Boxman.  In her post she describes the phone conversation we've all had at one point, or the other.  The calls from folks who want to pave the way to the low-ball or start off with discounting the listng without having seen the property. HotPads.com and FOR RENT SCAMMERS - 08/01/12 02:24 PM

Scammers are using HotPads.com and posting real estate agents' listings . . . FOR RENT!!
In  the past week, I have had three separate inquiries on the same home that's currently listed FOR SALE in the Portland Metro Area.  
Unfortunately, the inquiries were not from buyers interested, but all three inquires were about the FOR RENT status of the property.  
The three people who called me to inquire about the property told me they found the home FOR RENT on HotPads.com
The property, allegedly FOR RENT, is being displayed on HotPads.com but it is a validly listed property, listed by a licensed real estate agent, here in town.  The property FOR RENT … (14 comments)
