America's Best Downtown Portland Oregon So who am I to argue with Forbes Magazine?!?  In a recent article Forbes gave the nod to Downtown Portland Oregon as one of America's Best Downtowns. 
I could not agree any more!  Downtown Portland is truly a wonderful place.

Downtown Portland is a vibrant urban hub.  I love my jaunts into Downtown Portland, and love to show condos -- from Montgomery Park all the way to the South Waterfront communities -- LOVE IT!!
Here's ssomething Buyers need to remember:  The Downtown Portland market is very limited to the "types" of housing available. 
While there are detached homes in the immediate Downtown Portland market, they can be out of the majority of buyers' price range.

As you can see -- the Downtown Portland Condo Market had its share of decline in values.  There were 1,502 listings, 500 Sold, and there are 564 Active listings.  The months of inventory is 13.8.  
The Min. Sold Price was $72,000 and the Max. Sold Price was $2.7M.  But, the AVERAGE SALES price of a Downtown Condo plugged in at @ $444,295.
