As indicated by an article published by AdAge, various privacy groups have filed complaints to the FTC regarding the potential privacy issues with advertising exchange systems, particularly with Google, MSN and Yahoo. The argument of these pay-per-click (PPC) and behavioral advertising exchange systems violating end-user privacy is nothing new. But, with the appointments of two new commissioners, this complaint may be getting a little more focus.
