How far are you willing to go for staging? - 07/23/08 09:26 PM
I'd love to know if someone can meet the rigors of some of the listings I've worked on and staged. And by staging I mean going so far as to take on projects of large proportions.  Currently I'm working on a house that is having the following done to it:
new appliances
painting of accent walls, kitchen cabinets (2nd kitchen), touch up of regular wall color, entry way
major landscaping/weeding, pots with colorful plants being brought in
total moving of furniture within home and storage of items directed by agent
windows cleaned
carpets cleaned
house cleaned
2 window panes replaced, worn/broken … (4 comments)

Anyone heard of ERenter for doing credit checks on renters? - 07/22/08 07:43 PM
I just got a call from a former client and she was asking if I'd heard about an online company called www.E-Renter.com where you can do credit checks on prospective renters.  I had not heard of them before so I thought I'd throw it out to all of you to see if anyone has any experience: good, bad or indifferent.
The firm at the website noted above is from Bellingham, WA.
If you aren't careful and look up the wrong site it looks like a few advertising aggregate sites have taken advantage of the name and hyphen in it, these are mostly … (0 comments)

Looking for an agent to join our team - 07/22/08 04:56 PM
I've been looking around for a while in the hopes of finding a suitable person to join the ranks of Team Reba and help our residential business to continue growing. Unlike some team environments, I am not interested in merely collecting a bunch of buyer's agents underneath me.  What our team really needs is another residential agent with similar characteristics to me - not a clone, but a person with high moral and ethical standards, a strong sales background, and looking to share responsibility of customer satisfaction.
