I am not sure what type of bird this was but I was lucky to spot it along the way to Red Lodge Mountain.   Bird watching is an interesting hobby and some times even if your not looking for birds, they find a way to be spotted and to have you enjoy the beauty of their presence.

A Different Kind of Traffic Jam - Please Don't Slow Down or Stop, Get Moo-ving!!! - 06/21/09 06:11 PM
Fun fact: There is not a single traffic light in Red Lodge, Montana.  Actually, there is not a single traffic light in the whole county (Carbon County).
On this day, the cows decided to slow the traffic on the unpaved road in my subdivision.  The ones seen in the following photo are a very curious bunch and they always travel together.   You can say they like moo-ving together.

If you live in or near a big city, this is certainly not your usual traffic jam.  I don't mind when these cows get me to slow down (I believe they enjoy getting people to … (18 comments)
