Almost Speechless Sunday - Halloween Morning in Red Lodge, Montana
Some snow high up on the mountains (luckily none in town so the kids will be able to move around easily to collect candy)
A touch of bloody red in the sky ...

Red Lodge By Night
Here are photos I took the night of August 6, 2009. As I was leaving the office, I noticed the amazing display of colors in the sky. This was the call to make a detour om my way home to drive on Highway 308 towards Bearcreek and take the following sunset photo from the overlook before it got any darker. It was a memorable sunset and I enjoyed every minute of it. I will let the photos do the rest of the talking.

clouds at activerain: Not-So-Speechless Sunday - Goodnight from Red Lodge, Montana - 06/08/09 01:21 AM
One of the things I enjoy doing more since living in Red Lodge is to look at the stars at night. It is very difficult to capture and show you this. No photo can do justice to the feeling you get at looking at a clear sky at night and seeing the multitude of shining stars. I did manage to take the following photo to show you the peaceful scenery at night time. Good night and sweet dreams from Red Lodge!

After posting sunset photos in my last post Big Sky Sunset - Red Lodge, Montana, I thought it would be appropriate to follow up with a post with sunrise photos. They are photos of the sunrise (clouds attached) taken on September 25, 2008 taken from the Grizzly Peak subdivision and close to Ski Run (the 6 miles road which leads to Red Lodge Mountain). The sun is rising from behind the Pryor Mountains. It was the beginning of another beautiful day in Red Lodge, MT.
