grand prismatic spring: Not-So-Wordless Wednesday - Grand Prismatic Spring - 06/03/09 03:09 PM

The following photo was taken on May 25, 2009 at Yellowstone National Park at the Midway Geyser Basin.

The Grand Prismatic Spring is Yellowstone's largest hot spring at 370 feet diameter and 121 feet deep. The colors of this hot spring are simply spectacular! The name describes it well as "prismatic" means brilliantly colored.
