Three Quarter Moon Over Red Lodge?
The following photo was an interesting moon observation over Red Lodge tonight. At some point, the clouds had the moon dissected into two equal halves. Unfortunately, I was driving and on my way to my regular volunteer engagement at the Boys and Girls Club when I noticed it. By the time I pulled out of the main road to take a photo, the moon was not as mesmorizing but still worth photo. Is it a full moon or a three quarter moon over Red Lodge?

I love watching the paintings of Mother Nature in the sky here in Big Sky Country. Each morning at sunrise and each night at sunset is a different painting. The following photo is a sunset painting taken in Red Lodge, Montana on August 2, 2009. Thank you Mother Nature!
