While the market for townhomes in Fusion had slowed to a virtual stop due to the pending litigation against the builder, that issue has been resolved, lenders are once again financing, and the abundant inventory has just about withered down to nothing.  What was a great opportunity for buyers may be short lived as the inventory is now so far down.  2011 saw a total of 2 sales in Fusion, of which both were all cash buyers.  2012 couldn't have started of more drastically different with 6 townhomes currently in escrow.  To view Fusion floorplans and currently active homes for sale … (1 comments)

While waiting for a buyer and their agent to show up to my Plaza Del Amo listing in Torrance recently I had a bit of time to kill.  This is an end unit townhome so the windows and views are a big part of what makes it different and what I'm marketing.  While standing in the kitchen I noticed that the windows were very dirty from the recent rain (who says it doesn't rain in Southern California).  What to do.....so I searched under the sink, found some Windex, popped the window out and made them nice an clean.

In this continually changing South Bay real estate market in which you just can't seem to avoid short sales and bank owned homes, I keep running across listings with the agent remarks "Please don't call for availability.  If it shows active it is available."  That's great and all, but it seems that more often than not I go view it with my clients, call the listing agent with a question about my clients wanting to write and offer only to be told.....it's actually in escrow.  Now I realize that many of the agents that specialize in REOs and short sales have quite a … (5 comments)

I recently posted my thoughts  on something that I just don't get....property listings with no photos (See If a picture is worth a thousand words....why do so many agents not have pictures of their listings?)  I don't know what the reason is, but I do know that it's doing a disservice to you and your clients.  I received some great comments and realize that I'm not the only one that has a problem with this and many agents won't send their clients listings with no pictures.
