townhomes: Fusion South Bay - A Manhattan and Redondo Beach Alternative - 02/01/12 02:15 PM
I have sold a number of homes in the gated community of Fusion South Bay and often times the home search starts elsewhere. It is just east of Manhattan Beach and just north of Redondo Beach and it is located in an unincorporated part of Hawthorne known as Hollyglen. Although it doesn't quite enjoy the status of both Manhattan or Hermosa, it also doesn't come with the same price tag which is how I often end up showing homes there. The typical buyer is a first time buyer currently living in the Beach Cities and hoping to make their transition

townhomes: Fusion South Bay Impacted by Short Sales - 08/10/11 01:08 AM
Fusion South Bay, one of the few relatively newer construction complexes in the Beach Cities vicinity has been hit rather hard by a wave of short sale listings which have certainly impacted prices. As the first wave of owners primarily bought when construction was finished in 2005-2007 unfortunately this was at the very peak of market prices. Currently there are an abundance of listings with very few sales partly due to a potential litigation against the builder. While certain lenders are still doing loans in Fusion, it has slowed down sales fairly dramatically compared with the brisk sales of late 2010.

townhomes: So What is a 3 on a Lot Townhome - Understanding Redondo Beach Real Estate - 06/27/11 02:44 PM
Redondo Beach offers a wide variety of housing options for just about everyone's budget. While many buyers originally come to me in search of a single family home, they often find that they're priced out of the single family home market in Redondo. Most are hesitant when they hear the word townhome picturing a complex of hundreds of units but that's not always the case. In the South Bay, and most prominently in Redondo Beach, we have what's known as 3 on a lot and two on a lot townhomes. 3 on a lot towhomes are more prevalent in Redondo Beach than

townhomes: And Yes....I do Windows - 03/07/09 06:03 PM
While waiting for a buyer and their agent to show up to my Plaza Del Amo listing in Torrance recently I had a bit of time to kill. This is an end unit townhome so the windows and views are a big part of what makes it different and what I'm marketing. While standing in the kitchen I noticed that the windows were very dirty from the recent rain (who says it doesn't rain in Southern California). What to do.....so I searched under the sink, found some Windex, popped the window out and made them nice an clean. Look at

townhomes: Close to the beach? New Construction? There are deals to be had in Fusion in Hawthorne - 12/30/08 12:41 AM
When we were at the peak of the market the townhomes in the Fusion complex drew a great deal of interest for many couples and singles priced out of the nearby Beach Cities. Fusion is technically on 149th Street in Hawthorne, but is just off Aviation Blvd and directly across the street from Manhattan Beach. As the market cooled so did the prices in Fusion and we're now seeing smaller 2 bedroom townhomes selling in the low to mid $400,000 range. The homes are just a few years old and are a great option for those looking to live near the
