Have you ever written a post that simply didn't get any visits much less comments? Does it happen almost every time you write? You are not alone. In fact the reality of it is most blog postings go virtually unread for most people.
Writing a post here or there which receives little attention is okay - it happens to the best of the best (unless they have huge subscriber numbers). When one continually blogs, tweets or posts with absolutely no reaction we call this "black hole blogging" also known as wasted time. December 1, 2009 is the date your blog and all new media advertising meets new enforcement and scrutiny. Meet the Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255 "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising". Much of the "guide" applies to celebrity endorsements and the use of "disclaimers" such as those which say "results not typical".

No matter how much they try spell checking applications still are not usually smart enough to pick up on these grammatic errors of word usage. I have written over 5000 blog posts, articles, essays, and more yet still need to pause while I am writing to make sure I am using the proper words from time to time. Those of us who write until well past midnight ocassionally read our published work the next day to our own horror.

Never have I nor never will I blog for points or position. My winnings are measured by the number of conversations I have with people I have met online. When I get on the phone with a real estate agent from California, an appraiser from Maine or a title man from New Jersey just to say, "How's it going?" I win. I can't even provide loan services in those areas so it's definitely about friendship.

We all know among the best reasons we blog are to share our experiences, our ideas, our viewpoints, and to lead others out of their darkness and into our light. I keep a list of tools that I use very often in my business. I work from several locations so some of these are quite valuable to me and may be to you as well.
Instead of spending $50 or more on software to create PDF files when they only need to be read and not edited I use CutePDF. It installs like a printer and when you select PRINT from your menu on whatever application you are using such as Word, Excell, Internet, it will print that document into a PDF:

When my wife and I were enjoying a quiet evening some weeks ago we started talking about how people think we simply vanish from existance when they can't see or hear us then magically reappear again when they need us.
