Non-recourse loans are nothing new. In fact they have been around just about as long as loans have been around. IN a nutshell a non-recourse loan is a loan in which the lender may only recoupe their investment/losses from the collateral. In other words they can only take the property back and they cannot go after the borrower's other assets.
Non-recourse loans are more widely available for commercial property financing where the borrower is corporate but certainly are not limited to just that scenario. Our most widely used non-recourse loan is very rare and is in need nationwide for one particular type … (0 comments)
