success: Is it just convenient or is it the right thing to do? - 04/15/11 01:39 PM

Real estate agents want to either list or sell homes
Oddly enough a few are listing or selling as much as they would like. Most of them are not coaches, gurus or guides. Many of them, however, have consulted with a professional to improve their technique and results. Ah, but that is so inconvenient.
This is an abstract to illustrate a point ...
"So you're telling me you want $3500 to write a few posts (it was 25 to be exact well researched and well planned for SEM), put a few links on Twitter (100) and Facebook (and create his … (2 comments)

success: Looking for relief in 2009 but it is no blank slate - 12/28/08 05:20 PM
Knowledge is power. Please do not add "or so they say". Kowledge is power. I have noticed a trend over my lifetime among people and their individual approaches to facing and solving challenges. Like it or not we can all be "pigeon holed" into certain personality traits even though we may have varying aspects to our personality.
Perhaps the most common response to the current real estate and finance situation that I have seen is for people simplyto panick and role up like an armadilo. It kind of reminds me of the super-hero in the credit card commercial who freaks out … (8 comments)

success: Be The Brightest Star In Your Prospect's Sky - 11/20/08 01:50 PM
You know you have great service to offer to prospects. You are experienced, versatile, caring, concerned, realistic ... then so is your competitor. The hiccup is that your competitor seems to be everywhere. No matter where you go they "got there first". The restaurant where you eat lunch has their picture on the place mats, their name is on the front cover of the varsity game schedule, they are in the newspaper being nominated for Citizen of the Year. For crying out loud the kids came home from school carrying a bag with your competitor's logo all over it and some … (1 comments)

success: Strategy to Fail - Guaranteed Failure! Free Plan! - 10/03/08 10:30 AM
Albert Einstein is reported to have said, "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." If the door is locked when you first try to open it do you try again or do you find the key? Keep that illustration in mind when you think about business opportunities. Most of them are not locked they just need to be opened. Those which are locked all have a key - your job is to find that key.
As a mortgage lender I find a great number of doors to opportunity which at first try … (6 comments)

success: Help! I'm Too Busy To Blog Right Now! - 01/23/08 03:24 PM
Seriously - you all know how I do love to blog - then we've got that great little project going on over at BlogX3.com with The 24. I haven't posted to my personal blog hardly at all nor have I posted to my Blogger blogs.
And in the midst I am still having idiots who pull boneheaded moves during the loan process.
The truth is if we don't close most of these deals I'll be working at WalMart pretty soon and I think my house payment and car payment alone would eat up anything WalMart could pay even as GM ... so I … (9 comments)

success: Be Yourself As You See Yourself - Key One: Confidence - 12/11/07 07:05 AM
It is possible to be more successful one thought at a time.
When I was younger my mother would always say to me, "I know you can and you know you can you just need to prove it to others." Well, I did think I could but I didn't fee confident enough to do anything about it. Could what? Whatever it was I wanted to do. I had two obstacles to overcome: Knowing what it is I wanted to do and truly feeling confident enough to do it.
There were friends in my neighborhood and school who knew exactly what they wanted … (9 comments)
