•·        My two appointments today illustrate how having a progressive menu of services, additional education and expertise brings you long term relationships with your best business source - An existing client!
•1.     A Realtor associated with my Builder Models I merchandised hires me to stage the home for her lasted sale in the sub-division.  Most likely, I'll be helping them decorate the new home as well.
•2.     My staging client hires me to help choose a new paint palette and arrange her new space in her NEW home.

business tips: THE BORROWERS... No time to brand yourself - Just steal it! - 09/17/08 11:37 AM
OK - I promised myself I was over this - For 10 years I have been bitching and ranting over the "borrowers, copycats and duplicators." Not only has it happened to me time and time again, but to so many of my colleagues.
It is such a creepy, stomach turning event when you go to a site, read a brochure, see a business name - That has been "borrowed" from yours.  Words sucked out of your mouth, ideas from your brain, materials that took you day and days to write - POOF THEY'RE SOMEONE ELSES.
