A Whopping 102 degrees -- in Seattle! - 07/30/09 09:24 AM
Wow. Austin. Way different than Seattle, my family's old stomping grounds. 
Or so I thought. I just heard the news (delivered by a recently melted in-law) that Seattle had not one, but TWO days this week with 102 degree temperatures! The 102-mark set a record. An all-time record. Yes, Seattle (in all its recorded-weather history) has NEVER hit 102 on the mercury before. Ever!
I jokingly tried to tell them that here in Central Texas, we have a word for 102-degree days -- WINTER!

Melting in the Austin heat - 07/28/09 08:51 PM
Today crossed 100 degrees again today. Yikes! I hope the houses around here don't spontaniously combust during this heat wave!
Property tour was really cool today. A lot of older homes downtown, including a new townhouse near UT. 
I was looking at updated HUD listings earlier today and found some real bargains in South Austin. I am hoping some of my buyers will take advantage of these great deals. Dealing with the HUD process can be a pain, but it's worth it!
