masterplan community: San Diego’s Last Master-Planned Community

According to a consulting report by John Burns Real Estate, Otay Ranch in San Diego County has broken sale records for master-plan community in the nation with 563 homes sold in 2017, up from 159 homes sold the previous year. Wallis Ranch outside of San Francisco is the only other community to see a faster sales ratio.
In Otay Ranch, more than 10,000 homes have been built with almost 18,000 more to come. However, it should be noted that San Diego is running out of land and voters are not too fond of new housing projects. This can be seen in the … (1 comments)
