Halloween has been a big deal in Amherst Village for some time. Kids and adults come from all over the area to go trick or treating in the village. It is a great time for all.

We have lived in Amherst for over 15 years and just love the character of the town...with access to shopping and most anything you need within minutes, yet it maintains its rural and country feel. We lived in historic Amherst Village for years, raising our son in town. Residents of Amherst gathered and celebrated the town's 250th anniversary yesterday. Many joined together on the village green to celebrate Heritage Days. Some interesting comments from townsfolk were...
