tax credit: Will They Still Buy With No Tax Credit?? - 04/30/10 11:13 PM
As we all have heard for weeks now, the first time buyers tax credit expired today. The big question on every agents mind is, will they still buy?, will the market slow down? I think the market will slow down for a very short time. It won't take buyers long to figure out that they can't rent a home in our area for what their payment would be on a purchase. With FHA still at 3.5% down and rates around 5%, it's still a GREAT time to buy. Tax credit or No tax credit, Don't wait, still look for that deal and BUY !! (0 comments)
tax credit: The Rush For the Credit...BUY TODAY ! - 04/19/10 09:12 PM
If you are a buyer that is in a place where you can buy, qualified and ready to purchase, Don't wait !! 11 more days to be in contract. Why would you wait and miss the tax credit? There are plenty of GREAT deals still to be had ! Yes we agree your not buying a tax credit, your buying a home so it has to be the right home, not just any home. Even if you think that you won't find that "right" home in time, start looking, you just never know when you'll see the right one . We have all the lists, know (0 comments)
tax credit: Don't Wait To Long On The Tax Credit !! - 03/17/10 05:38 PM
We are hearing of buyers wanting to wait until the very end of April to find that perfect home and get in just under the wire for the tax credit. My ongoing concern is that those buyers that wait until right before the contract deadline to find the home may be in trouble, WHY ?? What if they just get into contract say April 29th, then order inspection & appraisal and they are feeling great about the $8,000 coming their way, no worries Right? WRONG ! If it does not appraise, does not pass inspections etc. etc., they loose the home and the credit (1 comments)
