We have a wonderful dishwasher at our Renton home! It requires very little in the way of pre-washing/rinsing and the dishes come out spotless. However, occasionally something gets into the dishwasher that shouldn’t and a misshapen piece of plastic is the result. I ran across an article recently and learned about a few things that shouldn’t be placed in the dishwasher regardless of how clean it might get them!

There are lots of different styles of homes in Renton. After buying a play kitchen for the grandchildren, the box it came in morphed into a “play home” for the kids. Armed with cutting tools, duct tape, and markers they cut a door, a window and decorated! Many many happy hours of play ensued and one night it even became a bed as the 9 yr old grabbed a sleeping bag & pillow and slept the entire night with head & torso in “the box” and legs stuck out through the door. My wife and I recently bought play kitchens for the two youngest grandchildren (two separate families - hence two kitchens). Today my wife received a call from the 3 yr old and on speaker phone he is telling my wife thank you for the kitchen that the mail truck brought. My wife says, “I’m so glad you like the kitchen Grandpa and I got for you.” His response, “Dramma, how did you get on the mail truck?”

appraisal price came back $6K less than agreed to price. seller was paying half our closing costs. i dont think i should pay anything more or pay the closing costs he agreed to pay now. we will pay the appraisal price and still expect the sellar to pay his agreed to closing cost contribution. can we ask the sellars agent or the bank to pick this portion of the closing costs if he flat out refuses. any advice ?
