Mathematical Proof That Girls Are Evil! (Weekend Wackiness) - 08/30/08 11:12 AM
You can use math to prove just about any arguement. And disprove any arguement as well. I saw this in a demonstration on symbolic logic when I was in college...and I thought I would share it with you as it has stuck in my head all these many years... We all know that given enough time and enough money, any man can get a woman. So, having said that...it can be said that girls are the product of time and money. In other words: Girls = Time X Money And we all know that "time is money" right? So, it

HOW TO GIVE A PILL TO A CAT Sit on sofa. Pick up cat and cradle it in the crook of your elbow as though you were going to give a bottle to a baby. Talk softly to it. With right hand, position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. (be patient) As cat opens mouth pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow. Let go of cat, noticing the direction it runs. Pick the pill up off the floor and go get the

Your Listing Ad May Be Discriminating Against Your Buyers!! - 08/27/08 01:58 PM
Ive posted this information before, but felt that it needed revisited... One of the more routine activities of a Realtors(c) job is to write copy for the ads that are used to support your listings. Whether those be online, print, brochures, or flyers, the goal of these ads is create a positive explanation of the property that will increase the flow of traffic to that ad from interested buyers. And, lets face it....that is the ultimate goal in this form of advertising. However, it is fairly easy to fall into the grey area and start to make statements that arent necessarily

Small Towns Suck? I Beg To Differ... - 08/25/08 08:03 AM
Many of you may know that I grew up in a small town...and I know small is a relative term to most. I am talking less than 1,000 people when I graduated high school. My graduating class had 29 kids in it. Im talking small town. I can remember: -- having to go to the doctor...walking into the office and being seen right away and leaving without paying for anything because they knew they could send a bill to my parents house. -- going to the drug store and getting perscriptions for pain medications for my dad and they actually gave them

Modern Convenience Was Invented For Me!! (A Little Humor From A Twisted Mind...) - 08/22/08 08:32 AM
Having grown up in what most would consider a bit of a ‘one-horse' town, I have to admit I like the creature comforts that today's modern world can provide to former back-country hicks like myself. Don't get me wrong...I love my simple little country roots, but lets get real here...this stuff was built for me. For example - Remote start for my car?? Hello????? Where has this been my entire life???? I have to tell you that there is no better feeling in the world than being able to start my car during the middle of winter with 2 feet of

Making Sense of Online Marketing -- Its All About SOI and ROI!! - 08/18/08 09:18 AM
Let's face facts - Online marketing can be a very effective tool to help increase your sales pipeline. However, a good number of sales professionals (agents included) do not take advantage of online or viral marketing as a way of helping increase their potential sales. Social networking is a quick and simple way to help with this. Yet, many do not participate in this form of ‘advertising'. The question is....why? Or...more appropriately...why not? There are a couple of similar reasons that keep showing up from everyone that I mention this concept to...and these myths appear to keep them from moving forward

Stupid Laws In Montana.....(Yes, These Are Real!) - 08/16/08 12:52 PM
My lovely wife is a paralegal...and being such, has access to the Montana Anotated Code. (That means she knows the laws here for us non-legal peeps...) Anyways...she brought home a few of the best and dumbest the other day...and I just had to share. In Montana.... It is illegal to have a sheep in the cab of your truck without a chaperone. It is a felony for a wife to open her husband's mail. Seven or more indians are considered a raiding or war party and it is legal to shoot them. (Repealed) It is a misdemeanor to show movies

Montana Golfing Rules...Funny! - 08/16/08 11:24 AM
Montana Golfing Rules Just Released: The Montana State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising golfers to take extra precautions. Be on the alert for bears while playing on Missoula, Gallatin, Helena, and Lewis and Clark National Forests Golf Courses. They advise golfers to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells on their clothing to alert, but not to startle the bears unexpectedly. They also advise you to carry pepper spray in the case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch for signs of bear activity. Golfers should be able to recognize the difference

Life Lessons -- From the Friday Funnies File - 08/15/08 08:50 AM
As I've Matured... I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in... I've learned that one good turn gets most of the blankets. I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just jackasses. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it. I've learned that whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed. I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - They are more screwed up than you think.

Curb Appeal... - 08/12/08 08:51 AM
I was talking with an agent friend of mine over the phone discussing the power of having a home staged to help it sell quickly. Marti is a big believer is using a home stager for her listings. She feels that it cleans up the look and gives her listings a much more ‘manicured' look. Changing the furnishings, painting, etc...all can add loads of ‘appeal' to the listing. And, having an outside eye look at things is always a good way of making sure that the over-all look that the listing agent or the home owner intended for the home is

Video of Ashville NC 'Ghost' Featured on CNN - 08/08/08 12:50 PM
If you have not seen or heard of this story, you seriously need to check this out... http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/08/08/legrand.haunted.school.wspa Long story short...a security camera inside the Ashville, NC, high school caught a shadow image that appears to walk across the floor and then enter an elevator. Also, another shadow appears to attempt to enter the school through the front doors... Fascinating stuff... Transferring Digital Photos Just Got Easier...Techies Take Note! - 08/08/08 08:20 AM
Most everyone on the planet has a digital cameranow-a-days. Many agents use them to post high-quality pics of their listings on the MLS or other various websites to help support those listings on-line. But, often times, transferring the photos is a tedious and high-maintenance job....until now. SanDisk, a world leader in the manufacturing of SD cards supported by most digital cameras, now has a new product that takes the mess out of transferring photos to your computer. TheUltra II SK Plus USB card is the newest innovation in digital photo transfers. It's simple. Take the card out of the camera, flip

The New Wave Of Internet Searching...YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!! - 08/07/08 09:33 AM
OK...I saw a story on these guys on CNN other day...and scoffed at it. Now, Im choking on my own scoff... Have you checked out www.cuil.com yet? Cuil was started by a couple of upstarts that used to work at that other huge search engine that everyone is sooo concerned about......(Thier name rhymes with Poogle) :-) Cuil is actually an irish word that means knowledge. And they have a completely unique approach to internet searching. They rely on CONTENT based searches versus popularity matricies that are so prevelant in today's search engine ranking world. They claim to have 3x the indexable

Buyers, Flyers, And Pliers! - 08/01/08 08:19 AM
My son just got a new bike!! And, like any good red-blooded American, I decided I would do a little maintenance on it for him. But, in order to do that, I needed my handy dandy pliers! So, I try to get into my tool box...and the lid wasn't working right. In fact, it wasn't working at all. Like any good red-blooded American, I forced it open...only to break the spring that hinges the back and provides the tension that holds the lid up. Now I have two things to fix. I grab my pliers and start working on my son's
