web 20: Web 2.0 Meets The Ice Cream Social (Network Your Network) - 05/15/08 01:45 PM
Let's face it, unless you have been living under a rock, you have some idea of what Web 2.0 and the power of social networking can do for your bottom line as well as your exposure on the net. Social networking sites are springing up all over the place -- and there are far too many to name individually -- ranging from the norm (www.myspace.com, www.facebook.com) to very specialized social networking sites like www.classmates.com and www.rivals.com. Many of us have profiles on some site like this...many of us use LinkedIn. Many of us have blogs we post to frequently, whether

web 20: Social Networking, Web 2.0, Blogging and Real Estate - 02/20/08 08:34 AM

web 20: Lead Generation and "The Human Factor" - 12/21/07 09:10 AM
There are dozens of different lead generation programs online today, and it's hard to know who to trust. Here's my advice: Don't trust any of them. They're outdated - nothing more than dinosaurs caught in the world wide web. Technology has already shaped the way we agents do business. First with the MLS, then real estate web page listings, and lead generation services. Each of these programs had a critical flaw in it, however: That factor is "human interaction". Lead generators are far too impersonal and amount to nothing more than "screen scraping" names and numbers (often faked). Why should you pay a
