palm aire realty: Inventory of homes for sale shrinks in South Florida - 08/12/10 03:04 PM
According to an article in the Sun-Sentinel recently, the number of homes for sale in Broward County is down by 35% compared to this time 2 years ago. 31% in Palm Beach County. This a good indicator that we won't be in a Buyer's market forever, however are also a large amount of foreclosure that have yet to be put on the market. This is known as the "shadow inventory", homes that banks withhold from selling in order to help sustain current home prices in the hopes that prices will continue to recover sooner. The numbers on the South Florida Real Estate market for July 2010 came out last week. It appears that Investors and Foreign buyers desire to purchase property before prices rise are driving the market in a positive direction. Broward County's pending sales is up 25.4% from this time last July with 7,830 homes pending sale. In Miami-Dade County, pending homes are up an astounding 40.5% from July of last year, with 10,113 pending sales. Our office is seeing a steady stream of buyers and willing sellers. palm aire realty: Palm-Aire Properties no longer in business - 07/05/10 11:21 AM
I am saddened to report that this morning I drove by Palm-Aire Properties office to find their doors closed and nothing left inside. A note on the door says that they have in fact closed after 33 years of business and thanks there past customers for their support and business. Everyone here at Wieder Realty wishes Ed and Linda Bosley and the Palm-Aire Properties staff a fond farewell and best wishes in their future endeavors.

palm aire realty: Major Water Park & Resort planned near Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport - 06/20/10 07:00 AM
On the site where Fort Lauderdale stadium now reside, a large-scale resort and water park may well occupy in the future. The tree-style resort will consist of 300 rooms and the water park admission will be approximately $39.95. The park would consist of giant river systems where visitors can ride inner tubes or swim between water slides, wave pools, downhill rapids and beaches. Treehouse-style hotel rooms would surround the resort. While one stadium would be partially torn down, the other would remain available for team sports, and new athletic fields would be built nearby.
