I am saddened to report that this morning I drove by Palm-Aire Properties office to find their doors closed and nothing left inside. A note on the door says that they have in fact closed after 33 years of business and thanks there past customers for their support and business.
Everyone here at Wieder Realty wishes Ed and Linda Bosley and the Palm-Aire Properties staff a fond farewell and best wishes in their future endeavors.

the Isle Casino and Racetrack has installed virtual blackjack machines!
There are 10 5-seat machines can sustain up to 50 players at a time.
8 of them have a $5 minimum bet with a $300 max.
The other 2, found in the high roller area, have $10 minimums with a $500 max.
I personally went last week to check them out and won $150!
The machines are very easy to use and run the same way as a regular blackjack game would with one exception... You don't have to tip the dealer!

Recently Normiz Realty was purchased and transferred to Wieder Realty, Inc.
Both locations are still open and fully operational. Now we have 24 Realtors selling the Palm-Aire/Cypress Bend area.
Our Normiz-Wieder office is located 1221 S Powerline Road, next to the Bagel Snack restaurant and can be reached at 954-979-9788 and 800-962-9788.
Our Wieder East office is still located at 900 S Powerline Road, between Walgreens and the Isle Casino & Racetrack. The office phone numbers are still 954-978-8300 and 888-658-1745.

You know you must be doing something right when the Property Appraiser's office calls you personally for insight. It is nice to be regonized as an authority on the properties that I handle in Palm-Aire. Actually they called me twice in the past week, first for my knowledge of the villas on the Cypress Golf Course and then for the townhouses on N Palm Aire Drive.

My office has closed nearly a million dollars in real estate this week and it feels so good!
Believe it or not, but people are in fact buying property right now. The bleak financial news helps buyers who have the means to buy property get more off the asking price. Sellers are now convinced that the sky is falling and banks are doing whatever it takes to stop the bleeding of the falling equity.
Today I closed on a foreclosure right off of Las Olas Boulevard, the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Originally sold for $1,100,000 the first owner defaulted on his failed … (0 comments)

On Saturday I was in the office from 9 to 3 with barely one phone call. So when I woke up this morning I thought I was only coming to the office for an hour or two to let a handyman finishing repainting my wall after some repairs I had done. Now however it has turned into a super sales day with several calls from my Sun Sentinel ad in the HomeSpot. Fortunately I brought a change of clothes in the event that I needed to do sales related activities.

Greetings,
Even though I remind myself daily to blog I have not been making much time for it lately.
Perhaps it is because I actively list & sell real estate & manage a real estate office 6-7 days a week.
Perhaps it is because I am getting ready to be married in 45 days or so.
Perhaps it is because I am setting up my office so that I can go away on my honeymoon to Thailand stress free.
