Just when I think that I will be able to soon see green blades of green peeking out of the white fluffy stuff - it snows. Not just a dusting, or a mere frosty blanket, no! I am talking about two feet of the white stuff. Now being a born and bred in Minnesota gal, I know that it will eventually disappear and Spring will come. It just is not going to happen any time in the near future.

A while back Jeff Belonger meme'd Allison and I and then Melissa Wagner hit me with one - so here it is.
I am a home stager from the beautiful lakes area of Brainerd/Baxter Minnesota. My family consists of my hubby, Arthur and two daughters Ashley and Allison. Since some of you are super crafty, I thought we should have a contest on pumpkin carving. Enter your photos or the kids pumpkin photos, and after the October 31st date, the team at Re$ale Design will pick the winner and list them in a blog update. As we are now in the Memorial holiday weekend and tonight is our first public performance of our annual "Freedom Celebration" a program honoring area servicemen and women and thanking God for our freedom and our country. As we honor them for their sacrifice, we also point them to Jesus as the one sacrifice who gives us freedom from payment for our sins.
"Freedom Celebration" in the past has brought in the old, the maimed, service families left behind, the newly enlisted young and brave and those who emotionally have never recovered from their battles. They will come to hear … (4 comments)
