Breckenridge Ski Resort opened this morning with 26" of fresh powder.  In the past 48 hours we have received 29" of the beautiful white fluffy powder.  Ullr Fest was just last week and Ullr has definately graced us with his presence, thank you Ullr.
As of January 18, 2011 the Breckenridge Ski Resort has the following snow report:

Season Total: 262"
All of the Breckenridge Ski Resort terrain is open, which is comprised of 2,358 acres & 155 runs. 29 of the 31 lifts are currently operating.

The main event of Ullr Fest in Breckenridge took place last Thursday afternoon.  Although snow was not falling during the festivities, snow was rolling down the streets and Ullr Fest was in full swing as 40 + floats paraded down Main Street Breckenridge entertaining crowds with loud music, dancing, cheering, and yes even skiiing and snowboarding.

What do you get when the Olympics meet Ullr Fest in Breckenridge?  Ullympics!  This event was held this past Tuesday evening during Ullr Fest in Breckenridge at Carter Park.
