This is an issue that few people are aware of even exists. However, as anyone can attest to who has received a phone call from "Joe ... about your loan application ... call me right away at xxx" but no company name and Joe and his phone number aren't familiar.
This is the worst part: Some unscrupulous loan officers have been known to make it sound as if they’re calling about your application in order to lure you into revealing personal information such as your social security number (which the credit bureaus can’t sell.)

I love this statue of two senior citizens sitting on the bench. It captures the essense of two people who know each other well, have walked through life together (probably in both good and bad times) and just shine their love to all.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be such an example of seasoned, true love like this?
I hope they'll make a statue of me and my husband like this some day. What really gets to me is the joy and comfort they express just by being in each others' company.

Pacita makes very good points for REO buyers.
I tell buyers all the time they have to be prepared to play by the banks' rules.
The biggest problem is so many banks are requiring buyers to get pre-approved with them, resulting in a BUNCH of inquiries that can then ding the buyers' credit.
Till then, it's the banks' game so either play to win or don't bother at all.

Do you remember the Bible verse about wisdom being worth more than gold? Here, this wise agent used two gold coins to demonstrate what is actually the truth about his seller's home value.
Both coins are equally valuable. To someone who needs one, they are essentially the same. However if one was purchased for 1000 and another for $1800 and today each is only worth $1100...what is the value? $1100.
No tricks or treats or fabulous scripts, widgets or promotions can make a buyer pay more than any home is worth in the market.

Harry Potter Movie - 07/15/11 12:36 AM
Dawn was lucky-she's already SEEN the last Harry Potter movie. I'm just heading to meet my family at AMC Cupertino Square in Cupertino for a midnight (PST) showing.
She said she noticed lots of attendees brought Harry Potter books to the theater - I think it's because people like to check facts (how it the movie different from the book for example). Also I know some people re-read the series in preparation for seeing the last movie.

The Santa Clara County Vector Control District (SCCVCD) fogging operations in the City of Sunnyvale were successfully completed at 3:00 a.m. on Friday, July 08.  
The fogging area included areas of the city of Sunnyvale, and was generally bordered by Evelyn Avenue on the north, South Grape Avenue, Lime Drive and South Mary Avenue on the west, South Wolfe Road on the east, and Cascade Drive on the south.  Please refer to the map of the fogging zone or call the district for more specific information on the treatment boundaries.

I came across this intriguingly titled study, "Innovative Roof Rat Control," done by technical assistant Donald Brothers of the Santa Clara County Health Department in San Jose, California...published in 1972.
As cited in the abstract, "During the study approximately 190 two ounce bait blocks were consumed and many dead roof rats were found by the Health Department and residents living in the baited areas. The procedure appears to be an effective means of population reduction and has the potential of long range effectiveness."
